A few years ago, I lost a woman that meant the world to me, my mother. She had battled cancer three times and twice she won that battle. But the third round with a cancer we thought was well and done, would return to claim her life. She was an inspiration to all of us kids growing up. We were all adopted and she took care of us as well as our adopted father who ended up having Multiple Sclerosis. Life was never as she planned it to be, but she forged onward and showed us a strength that rarely can be seen. She is the biggest reason that I relay now, the other being my own past battles with cancer. So far, my own have remained in remission for which I am grateful each and every day. It's a reminder to live each day like it is your last. Dance in the rain and smile while doing it. Go and explore, experience new things, meet new friends, perhaps try a new hobby. Heck, jump out of a perfectly good airplane if that is your inspiration. But, LIVE and stay strong.
